location

Goethestrasse is located in the Wilhelminian expansion of the city of Mönchengladbach in the direction of Eicken . All buildings date from the turn of the century, house number 25 will have been built shortly after 1900.

architecture

House No. 25, very similar to house No. 27 and probably from the same hand, is a two-storey residential building in three axes with a gable roof . House no. 25 is a successful example of Wilhelminian style building. In view of its subtle design with echoes of Art Nouveau and its location, the building is worthy of protection for stylistic and urban historical reasons.
