IC 127 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Cetus south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 91 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 45,000 ly in diameter.
The galaxy is a member of the NGC 584 group , which includes NGC 586 , NGC 596 , NGC 600 , NGC 615, and NGC 636 .
The property was built on December 14, 1892 by Stéphane Javelle .
