IC 114 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 106 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 40,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 522 , NGC 524 , NGC 525 , IC 102 , among others .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 2, 1893 .
