IC 112 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sdm: in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 264 million light years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies NGC 511 and NGC 569 are located in the same area of ​​the sky .

The type Ic supernova SN 2008hh was observed here.

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 4, 1893 .
