IC 141 is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type SBBC in the constellation Cetus. It is estimated to be 500 million light years from the Milky Way . On the line of sight from Earth, a star of the galaxy is superimposed. The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 5, 1891 .
