IC 148 is an irregular galaxy of Hubble type Irr in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 38 million light years from the Milky Way and about 35,000 ly in diameter.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 660 .
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on September 30, 1890 .
