The Goethestrasse 55 building is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the south side of Goethestrasse in Magdeburg's Stadtfeld Ost district . To the east, the house, which is also listed, is adjacent to Goethestrasse 56 .
Architecture and history
The three-storey plastered house was built in 1909 by the architect Peter Schneider . Master bricklayer Reinhold Radisch was the owner of the villa -like house designed in Art Nouveau style . The facade is dominated on its eastern half by a polygonal bay window . There is a balcony above the bay window. The facade is only sparsely decorated. A garland decor that can be assigned to the late Art Nouveau is found as a decorative element. The building is covered by a mansard roof .
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 81809 .
Together with the neighboring houses Goethestrasse 56, 57 and 58, the house belongs to a largely closed row of houses near the eastern end of Goethestrasse.
