Gogtram (Hugo Gog) was a manufacturer of model trams from Ulm .

history

Apparently no company was founded. There is no entry for a company with this name in the Ulm commercial register, nor is a legal form mentioned in catalogs and publications. Model making began in 1975, and a first catalog was published in 1977 under the name Arbeitsgemeinschaft Strassenbahnmodelle . From 1978 catalogs were published under the name Gogtram - the last catalog bears the year stamp 1985, while production ended around 1981. In 2002 a new edition of a Gogtram model was announced via ADM Munich and Ladegüter Bauer if there was "sufficient demand", which has not yet materialized.

Some Internet trade directories can still be found today “Hugo Gog - chemical products” at the address in Ulm used for Gogtram and “Arbeitsgemeinschaft Strassenbahnmodelle”.

Products

All models were produced in the nominal size H0 , on a scale of 1:87. Thanks to interchangeable axles, the models could run on both H0 track ( standard gauge on the prototype with a model gauge of 16.5 mm) and on H0m or TT tracks ( meter gauge on the prototype, model gauge 12 mm).

Two-axis basic model short (94 mm)

The short two-axle basic model was produced in a large number of color and design variants (lanterns, towing or barrel roofs, motor vehicles or sidecars, various front window and headlights).

Two-axis basic model long (105 mm)

The long version was added to the range in the last year of production, 1981 - a broad variant like the short two-axle basic model was omitted.

Four-axis basic model (136 mm)

Design as an electric multiple unit (based on the model TW117 of the Rheinbahn ) with one or two pantographs or as a diesel multiple unit .

equipment

The following accessories were offered:

A separate track and overhead line system was also planned, but was never implemented.
