Golden bowl
The Golden Bowl was the highest honor given the German Film Prize .
The touring award was given to producers from 1954 as the successor to the Golden Candle (1951, 1953) for films that were particularly worthy of recognition. The award, which is rarely given, was waived altogether in 1996, as it had not been awarded for 17 years.
