The golden-throated wood warbler ( Setophaga dominica , Syn .: Dendroica dominica ) is a small bird from the genus of the wood warbler ( Setophaga ) in the family of the wood warbler (Parulidae).

Golden-throated warblers have a yellow throat and a yellow upper chest. The upper side plumage has a grayish color with dark gray wing-covers, on each of which there are two white wing rods. The underside plumage is white. The crown and forehead are black and a black plumage extends over the eyes and in the cheek area. The rest of the head is white.

Golden-throated warblers breed from central Texas to central Florida, from southern Kansas to northern Illinois and eastern Pennsylvania . They spend the winter in the south of Florida, in the Bahamas , in the east from Mexico to Nicaragua .
