Gondole

The Gondole oppidum is a Celtic archaeological site in the commune of Le Cendre near Clermont-Ferrand in the Puy-de-Dôme department in France . Along with Gergovia and Corent , it is one of the three Arverni settlements in the late Latène period . The site is on the list of historical monuments.

The area of ​​the oppidum within the wall was around 28 ha, the area of ​​the entire complex 70 ha. A wide, palisade-lined road connected Gondole with Gergovia.
