Gonggar ( Tibetan གོང་ དཀར་ རྫོང་ Wylie gong dkar rdzong , also Gongkar Dzong , Chinese 贡嘎 县 , Pinyin Gònggá Xiàn ) is a district of the Shannan administrative district in the south of the Tibet Autonomous Region in the People's Republic of China .
In 1999 it had 46,154 inhabitants.
