Gonzalo de la Fuente de la Iglesia (born March 21, 1984 in Burgos ) is a Spanish football player .

Career

De la Fuente began his career with Peña Antonio José . In the summer of 2004 he joined the third division team Burgos CF , for whom he played for the first time in October 2004 in the Segunda División . With Burgos he rose in the 2007/08 season in the Tercera División .

In the summer of 2008 he moved to the fourth division Real Oviedo . With Oviedo he was promoted to Segunda División B in 2008/09. For the 2011/12 season he returned to Burgos CF, who are now back in the third division. With Burgos, however, he rose again in the same season in the Tercera División.

For the 2012/13 season he moved to the third division Caudal Deportivo . For Caudal, he completed 35 games in the Segunda División that season. In summer 2013 he moved to Real Avilés . For Avilés, he was used in 30 league games and scored one goal.

For the 2014/15 season he joined the second division promoted Albacete Balompié . He made his debut in the Segunda División for Albacete on the second match day of the 2014/15 season against the CD Tenerife . With Albacete he had to join the Segunda División B in the 2015/16 season.

In the summer of 2016 he moved to the third division SD Ponferradina . For Ponferradina, he played 27 goalless games in Segunda División B in the 2016/17 season.

In July 2017 he moved to Racing Santander , where he received a contract until June 2018.
