Goorstorf is located northeast of Rostock and northwest of Bentwisch and the B 105 , not far from the Rostock / Ost exit of the A19 motorway . history

The place is probably identical to a place Goderack, or S. Godehardi, mentioned in 1211, which may once have been an important Slavic town. It belonged with other villages in the area to the Toitenwinkel , which was owned by the Moltke family for centuries . In 1930 the place was named as an estate with 57 inhabitants. On July 1, 1950, Goorstorf was incorporated into Bentwisch. Since the late 1990s, the place has grown considerably with the construction of new homes.

Attractions

A monument in the village for those who fell in the First World War is a listed building.
