Goose , derived from the English name goose for goose , is a Belgian electro rock and dance punk band consisting of Mickael Karkousse, Dave Martijn, Tom Coghe and Bert Libeert.
Band history
Goose was founded in Kortrijk , Belgium in the summer of 2000 . Their productions wowed the scene with the strong influence of synthesizers . They won the Humo's Rock Rally in 2002 and released the single "Audience" with Teo Miller that same year. This single used Coca-Cola for its Europe-wide commercials.
They were signed to Skint Records and their debut album "Bring It On" was released on November 11, 2006. They toured Europe and then played in Australia and Japan.
Goose released their second album "Synrise" on October 18, 2010. The first single from the album "Words" was played on the radio for the first time on August 10, 2010. The theme song "Synrise" was also mixed by artists such as Mumbai Science, Housemeister, Paul Chambersand and Soulwax . Even Jef Neve , a famous Belgian jazz pianist, made a classical piano version of the single. The cover of the album was designed by Sturm Thorgerson.
The third album "Control Control Control" (2012) was recorded live in the studio by Paul Stacey ( Noel Gallagher ) and Dave Sardy ( Oasis , ZZ Top ).
