Gordon D. Fox

Gordon D. Fox (born December 21, 1961 in Providence , Rhode Island ) is an American politician .

Life

Fox attended Providence College and Rhode Island College and studied law at Northeastern University in Boston . After completing his studies, he worked as a lawyer. He was an MP in the Rhode Island House of Representatives from 1992 to January 2015 . As the successor to William J. Murphy , he was speaker of this Chamber of Parliament since February 2010 . His successor in the electoral district was J. Aaron Regunberg . Fox is a member of the Democratic Party . He lives in Providence with his long-time partner, Marcus LaFond.
