Gordon Geib (born October 6, 1983 in Wuppertal , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a former German basketball player .

He last played in the BBL on the position of guard at the Giants Düsseldorf . Despite his relatively small 1.80 meters, he was considered a defensive specialist.

Gordon started playing basketball at the age of eight, first at TSV Ronsdorf and later at ATV Wuppertal, before moving to Bayer 04 Leverkusen at the age of twelve . In the 2005/06 season, with 10.3 points per game, he scored the highest number of points among German basketball players in the basketball division , as well as his personal career best of 35 points in a game against TBB Trier . After the departure of Bayer AG as a sponsor and the consequent move of BG Leverkusen to Düsseldorf, those responsible managed to win over the popular figure for the concept of the newly formed Giants Düsseldorf. After two moderately successful seasons in Düsseldorf, which had their negative climax in the sporting descent after the 2009/10 season, Geib ended his Bundesliga career.

Following his professional career, he went on a world tour with his girlfriend and later was the player-coach of DT Ronsdorf, with whom he was promoted to the first regional league before he retired in February 2015.
