Gorgoneion group

The Gorgon's group was one with a provisional names designated group of ancient Greek vase painters that their works at the Corinthian - black-style decorated. She created her works during the Middle Corinthian phase of the style (around 600-575 BC), her works are dated around 580 BC. Dated. The Gorgoneion group mainly decorated bowls and craters . Characteristic and eponymous for the group were the inside of the bowls, which were mostly painted with a gorgon head . The main master of the group was the cavalcade painter .
