Gorka Larrea García (born April 7, 1984 in Donostia-San Sebastián ) is a Spanish football player .

Player career

Gorka Larrea started his career as a footballer at the traditional Basque club Real Sociedad from his hometown of San Sebastián . From 2002 to 2005 the midfielder played in the B team of the "Txurri Urdin", first in the Tercera División , then for two years as a regular in the third division. In the 2003/04 season Larrea made his first division debut for the Basques.

After he could not prevail permanently in the first team, Gorka Larrea was loaned to the second division UD Almería for the 2006/07 season. There he became a regular with two goals in 28 games and rose to the end of the season with his team. In the summer of 2007, the midfielder returned to his home club Real Sociedad.

But even after the loan deal, he could not prevail at Real Sociedad and moved to Levante UD , where he could quickly play his way into the team. In the 2010/11 season, however, he had also lost his regular seat there and finally switched to CD Numancia in the Segunda División in summer 2011 .
