Got fun nekome (German The God of Vengeance ) is a silent film from Russian Poland from 1912. It was based on the play of the same name by Shalom Asch from 1905.

A Jewish brothel owner wants to keep his daughter away from his obnoxious surroundings. He donates a Torah scroll. He desecrates this again when the “God of vengeance” does not fulfill his wishes.

The film was based on a theater production by Abraham Fiszzon at the Yiddish Theater in Warsaw . It was one of the earliest Yiddish films ever.
