The Gotland Bay is a bay on the north west side of Scott Island in the Southern Ocean .
Scientists from the German expedition GANOVEX III (1982–1983) made their name. It is named after the Gotland II , which on 18 December 1981 at GANOVEX II (1981-1982) as a result of damage by ice pressure had dropped.
