Gotley Buttress is a 1,800 m high, steep-walled ridge of the Big Ben volcano on the island of Heard in the southern Indian Ocean . It extends from its intersection with the Gibbney Buttress ridge towards the Atkinson Cliffs .
Namesake is Aubrey V. Gotley, meteorologist of a 1948 campaign of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions to Heard.
