Gotteszell (Zachenberg)

Gotteszell (also Gotteszell Bahnhof) is one of the 37 districts of the municipality of Zachenberg in the Bavarian Forest .

The district arose around the station on the Plattling – Bayerisch Eisenstein railway line, which opened on September 16, 1877, not far from Bundesstraße 12, approx. 1.5 km east of the eponymous neighboring community and west of the Köckersried district . The railway line to Viechtach has been branching off here since 1928 .

With 239 inhabitants, it is the fourth largest in the municipality.
