Gottfried Voitel

Gottfried Voitel (born May 12, 1926 in Dresden ; † October 10, 1990 ) was a German politician ( FDP ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Gottfried Voitel attended elementary school and high school and passed the Abitur after military service . He had to interrupt his studies at the Technical University of Dresden for political reasons and in 1948 fled the Soviet occupation zone to West Germany . From 1954 to 1958 he studied economics at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and finished his studies with a degree in economics. From 1960 to 1968 he was a speaker at the Department of Politics and lecturer at the Frankfurt am Main Administrative Seminar.

politics

Gottfried Voitel became a member of the LDPD in 1945 . After fleeing, he became a member of the Hessian FDP, which at that time still appeared under the name LDP. In the early 1970s he was the district chairman of the FDP in Frankfurt.

From 1956 to 1973 he was a city councilor in Frankfurt am Main and a member of the association assembly of the Lower Main Regional Planning Association.

From December 1, 1966 to May 21, 1973 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament and there deputy chairman of the FDP parliamentary group from January 1969 to November 30, 1970. From December 1, 1970 to May 16, 1973 he was vice-president of the Hessian parliament Landtag. His successor in the state parliament was Peter Jochen Kruse . In 1969 he was a member of the 5th Federal Assembly .

From May 21, 1973 to September 21, 1979 he was a full-time councilor of the Hochtaunuskreis .
