Gotthard Breit

Gotthard Breit (* 1941 in Schorndorf ) is a German political didactic .

Life

After completing high school and military service, Breit studied history, German and political science at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen , the University of Hamburg and the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg, and in 1972 he was employed by Andreas Hillgruber at the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Freiburg with the dissertation The State and Society German generals of both world wars in the mirror of their memoirs on Dr. phil. PhD. After his legal clerkship and assistant for political education at the University of Osnabrück , he became an academic advisor (chair Walter Gagel ) at the TU Braunschweig . From 1994 to 2007 he was professor for didactics in political education at the Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg . He is the editor of numerous political didactic books and co-editor of the journal Politische Bildung ( Wochenschau Verlag ).
