Siegfried Schiele

Siegfried Schiele (born October 1, 1939 in Fridingen an der Donau ) is a German political didactic .

Life

After graduating from the Albertus-Magnus-Gymnasium in Rottweil in 1959 , he studied political science , history and Latin at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . He then worked as a teacher at the Hermann-Hesse-Gymnasium in Calw. In 1970 he became a professor at the seminar for student trainees at the University of Tübingen. In 1974 he took on a consultancy role for the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg . From 1976 to 2004 he was director of the state center for political education in Baden-Württemberg . Today he is a lecturer for didactics of political education at the University of Tübingen and deputy chairman of the Federal President-Theodor-Heuss-Haus foundation . He edited numerous writings.

He is a member of the Catholic student association KStV Alamannia Tübingen .
