Kurt Möller

Kurt Möller (* 1954 ) is a German educationalist . Since 1989 he has been Professor of Social Work at Esslingen University .

Life

Möller studied education , sociology and German in Münster and Bielefeld. After graduating in Education in 1979, he was a research assistant at Bielefeld University from 1984 to 1989 . In 1987 he was promoted to Dr. phil. PhD. Since 1989 he has been Professor of Social Work at Esslingen University. In 1999 he completed his habilitation at the Faculty of Education at Bielefeld University and became a private lecturer . His research focuses on violence, right-wing , xenophobic and misanthropy , Male and Political Socialization and youth cultures .

He is co-editor of the series of publications on conflict and violence research ( Juventa-Verlag ). Möller is u. a. Member of the advisory board of the Caritas project active for respect and democracy - against right-wing extremism , member of the state network for human rights and democracy development - against right-wing extremism and misanthropy in Baden-Württemberg, advisory board member of the local networking project - acting democratically , advisory board member of the work and research center for right-wing extremism and xenophobia in Germans Youth institute and member of the expert group of Future Plan Youth of the State of Baden-Württemberg.
