Gotthold Krippendorf

Gotthold Krippendorf (born June 22, 1886 in Neustadt an der Orla ; † November 22, 1914 , killed as a soldier in Łódź ) was a German painter, wood cutter and draftsman.

Krippendorf studied at the Grand Ducal Saxon Art School in Weimar and as a master student with Hans Olde . Then he worked in Weimar .

Krippendorf died in the First World War as a soldier in the 32nd Infantry Regiment at the age of 28. He left very few works.
