Gottlieb Delbrück

Gottlieb Delbrück (born September 2, 1777 in Magdeburg , † November 2, 1842 in Halle ) was a German lawyer and civil servant.

Life

Delbrück studied law at the University of Halle and was given a job at the university courts in Halle. In 1800 he became a judicial commissioner and in 1802 a criminal adviser . In 1807 he was the syndic of the cathedral chapter in Magdeburg with the task of administering the goods there. Delbrück was a secret councilor and most recently a curator of the University of Halle.

His son was the co-founder of Deutsche Bank Adelbert Delbrück . His daughter Franziska Maria (1813–1849) married the theologian Hermann Ludwig Dryander .
