Thank God Adolf Veiel
Gottlob Adolf Veiel (born August 4, 1802 in Blaubeuren , † April 24, 1864 in Stuttgart ) was a Württemberg lawyer and politician .
Life
Born as the son of Johann Gottlob Veiel , Adolf Veiel studied law in Tübingen . During his studies in 1821 he became a member of the Germania Tübingen fraternity . After his studies he worked as a legal consultant in Marbach and from 1849 in Stuttgart.
In 1838, 1839, 1841 to 1843, 1845, 1847 and 1848 he became a member of the Württemberg Chamber of Deputies . In this he campaigned for the emancipation of the Jews in 1845 . In 1848 he was a member of the Frankfurt pre-parliament and from May to August 1848 chairman of the Fatherland Association .
