The Govedare peak (English; Bulgarian връх Говедаре wrach Gowedare ) is a rocky and 850 m high mountain on the Oskar-II.-coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 2.73 km east-southeast of Duhla Peak , 11.18 km west of Mount Quandary and 13.18 km north of Pirne Peak in the Zagreus Ridge . The Hektoria Glacier lies northeast, a subsidiary glacier of the Paspal Glacier southwest of it.
British scientists mapped it in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 for the village of Gowedare in southern Bulgaria .
