The Gowlett Peaks are a group of isolated mountains with exposed double peaks and two witness mountains in Mac-Robertson Land, East Antarctica . They tower 13 km northeast of the Anare Nunatakker .
They were first sighted as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) in November 1955 by a team led by the Australian polar explorer John Mayston Béchervaise (1910-1998). The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them after Alan Stanley Gowlett (1921–1998), an engineer at Mawson Station in 1955.
