The Åsa burial ground ( Swedish Åsa gravfalt ) is one of the largest burial grounds in the Swedish province of Södermanland County . It is located on a ridge north of Stallarholmen on the Selaön in the municipality of Strängnäs and dates from the late Germanic Iron Age (from 400 AD) and the Vendel period (650–800 AD). The burial ground is classified as an imperial interest.

The square is home to 250 different monuments. The undated, once 33.0 m long and eight meter wide ship setting "Åsa domarsäte" once consisted of 24 (now 18) stones and is one of the outstanding monuments along with the " Runestone Sö 200" from the 11th century.

The runestone

Runestone Sö 200

The rune stone was found in 1602 by Johannes Bureus (1568–1652) and bears the inscription: "Trotte, Rolev, Östen, Nase and Glägge built this stone after Arnsten, their father". The names Trotte and Glägge are very rare. The anonymous rune master who chiseled this inscription shows characteristic features in his work, so that another three inscriptions on Selaön are ascribed to him.

A domar ring made of seven stones stands in the west. There are also a large number of burial mounds.

Nearby is the Mervalla rune stone .
