The Iron Age burial ground of Verdal is spread over three farms in Verdal near Trondheim in Fylke Trøndelag in Norway .

The Verdal North, East and South farms were once a large manor house that was later divided up. The courtyards lie on a long ridge. A path that leads from north to south through the area begins at Verdal Nord and also leads to the two approximately 2.0 m high building stones in Hommeldalen (also Verdal Nord) and the approximately four meters tall building stone of Bossnes . The burial ground consists mainly of large burial mounds .

In the garden of the main house of Verdal Nord, there is an approximately 2.0 m high round hill in the middle between the main house and the barn. It is about 18.0 meters in diameter.

Between Verdal North and Verdal East there is a burial ground made up of around 10 round hills in a fenced pasture. They are 0.5 to 1.0 meters high and vary in diameter from 8.0 to 12.0 meters. Some have small trenches around the edges.

In Verdal East there are four large round hills around the courtyard. One is about 2.5 m high and over 25.0 m in diameter. The other three are 1.0–2.0 meters high and have a diameter between 15.0 and 18.0 meters. Two are so close to the main house that they touch the wall. In the garden of the second manor house in Verdal Ost there is a building stone between larger trees . It broke in two years ago. The broken piece is next to it. Both are about 2.0 meters long and 30-40 cm wide, so that the stone was originally about 4.0 meters high.

There is a large, flat burial mound in Verdal South. It is over 20.0 meters in diameter but only 0.5 meters high. A pointed menhir about 0.6 m high and 30 to 40 cm wide stands on the hill next to a flagpole.

The area has many monuments, mainly round hills.
