Bossnes building stone

The building stone of Bossnes stands east of the Verdal burial ground in a dense forest, not far from Bossnesvegen, northeast of Straumen and northeast of Trondheim by the Borgenfjord, in the Trøndelag district in Norway .

The building stone is one of over 100 examples in Nord-Trøndelag. The five provinces of Rogaland (258), Østfold (140), Møre og Romsdal (134), Vest-Agder (107) and Trøndelag (102) have over 100 stones . The building stone of Bossnes was found lying down, but was put up again in 1890. It is a round stone about 4.0 meters high and about 60–70 cm wide.
