The Greens Uri are the cantonal party of the Green Party of Switzerland in the canton of Uri . Together with the Social Democratic Party, they form a parliamentary group in the district administrator and are represented there by a district administrator. Further partners are the trade union federation Uri and the Juso of the canton Uri. The Green Alliance is committed to environmental protection and social, economic and political justice. They request the installation of solar roofs .
Former district members of the Greens are: Annalize Russi, Armin Braunwalder, Alf Arnold and Christoph Schillig.
In 2010 the Altdorf Green District Administrator Annalize Russi failed in the government council elections, in 2015 in the elections to the National Council.
