The grave slab for Jean Rasoir and Jeanne de Vendegies , now in the Hôtel de Ville of Beuvrages , a French commune in the Nord department in the Hauts-de-France region , was originally created in the 15th century and after a fire in the year Renewed in 1620. The black stone grave slab was added to the list of listed buildings ( Base Palissy ) in France in 1982 as Monument historique .

The 1.27 meter wide and 2.40 meter long grave slab for Jean Rasoir, landlord of Beuvrages from 1437 to 1470 , and his wife Jeanne de Vendegies († 1459) was originally in the former church of Saint-Saulve. It was found during excavations in 1975 and recovered in several parts.

Jean Rasoir (left) and Jeanne de Vendegies (right) are shown as a relief . Eight coats of arms of the parents and grandparents of the two deceased can be seen on the edge. There is an inscription at the bottom.
