The Wasp Hill is about 70 m (after Bulgarian information 72 m ) high hill on the Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the Byers Peninsula, it rises 1.1 km northwest of Sealer Hill .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1993 after the US schooner Wasp under Captain Robert Johnson, who operated seal hunting in the waters around the South Shetland Islands between 1821 and 1822 .
