Grave slab for Jean de Fouilleux in Bazicourt

The grave slab for Jean de Fouilleux in the church of St-Nicolas von Bazicourt , a French commune in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region , was created in 1615. The grave slab was added to the list of listed buildings ( Base Palissy ) in France in 1913 as Monument historique .

On the limestone grave slab , the deceased is depicted with armor and sword, his hands are folded in prayer, in the form of a scratched image. It is surrounded by an architectural decor with arches and pilasters . An inscription with the year 1615 has been preserved on the edge.

The lower part of the stone slab has damage caused by water ingress.
