Wang Family Tomb on Xiangshan Mountain

The tomb of the Wang family on Xiangshan Mountain ( Chinese  象山 王氏 家族 墓地 , Pinyin Xiàngshān Wángshì jiāzú mùdì ) in the northern suburbs of Nanjing in the Chinese province of Jiangsu is the tomb of Wang Xingzhi 王兴 之, his wife Song Hezhi 宋 和 之 and other family members from the Eastern Jin Dynasty .

Wang Xingzhi was a cousin of Wang Xizhi (approx. 303 – approx. 361), one of the most famous calligraphers in Chinese history.

The grave site of the Wang family on Xiangshan Mountain ( Xiangshan Wangshi jiazu mudi ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-248) since 2006 .

epitaph

The epitaph on the tomb of Wang Xingzhi and his wife is a calligraphic work from the Eastern Jin period . It gives Wang Xingzhi's death and burial dates and his rank as a military man of the Jin Dynasty. He was buried 340 and his wife 348.
