Grace Verbeke (born November 12, 1984 in Roeselare ) is a Belgian cyclist .

Athletic career

Grace Verbeke is one of the strongest Belgian cyclists since the mid-2000s. From 2007 onwards she achieved good placements in important road races. In 2009 she won the Tour Féminin en Limousin , was second in the Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l'Ardèche and third in the Chrono Champenois - Trophée Européen . At the UCI Road World Championships in 2009 she was ninth in the individual road race and also finished ninth in the women's cycling world cup . Her greatest successes to date came in 2010 when she became Belgian champion in the individual time trial , won the Tour of Flanders and finished sixth in the road world championships.

In July 2011 Verbeke was third on the Tour Féminin en Limousin and won the mountain classification . Due to health problems and a pregnancy, she took a break from racing until 2014.

In 2015 Grace Verbeke became Belgian mountain bike champion in the Beach Race. For 2017 she signed a contract with Lensworld-Kuota .
