Graciette Justo

Graciette Ruf da Cunha Duarte Justo (* 1981 ) is a German theater actress , trainer for improvisational theater and MBSR meditation teacher .

Life

Justo is the child of the Portuguese theologian and philosopher António Justo and an artist. She grew up in Kassel . Justo studied social pedagogy at the University of Kassel and then trained as a state-recognized actress at the TheaterRaum Munich drama school. Since her apprenticeship, she has mainly lived and worked in Munich.

Justo can be seen nationwide in theater productions. As an improv theater actress she plays in the Munich ensembles of the “Mixxit Theater” and the “Mitspinntheater”.

As a trainer for improvisational theater, she leads three improvisational theater groups in Munich and gives training courses nationwide. As a seminar leader she organizes international improv theater creative trips.

Justo is also a certified mindfulness-based stress reduction teacher and a meditation teacher at the Buddha-Haus in Munich. She organizes international mindfulness trips, meditation weekends and silent retreats in Germany, Austria and on the island of Corfu.

Justo is the singer and songwriter of the indie acoustic rock band MellowBox , which was founded in April 2010 and released their debut album in 2014.

Since 2013 Justo has been moderating the Munich youth film festival “flimmern und rauschen” in the Muffatwerk for the JFF - Institute for Media Education in Research and Practice .
