Graeme Macrae Burnet

Graeme Macrae Burnet (born 1967 in Kilmarnock ) is a British writer.

Life

Graeme Macrae Burnet studied literature at Glasgow University and then went to France, Czechoslovakia and Portugal as a teacher. He graduated from the University of St Andrews for an M.Litt and then worked for television.

Macrae Burnet received the Scottish Book Trust's New Writers Award for his first book, The Disappearance of Adèle Bedeau . His second book, His Bloody Project , was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2016 .
