List of rose varieties

The rose variety Graham Thomas , syn. 'AUSmas' is a very robust English rose that David Austin introduced in 1983. It is a descendant of Charles Austin × ( Snow White × an English rose) and shows the growth characteristics of an "old rose".

The rose variety is dedicated to the rose collector, author and gardening expert Graham Stuart Thomas , who in the 20th century contributed to making old roses popular again.

The bowl-shaped flowers smell like a tea rose and are amber yellow to lemon yellow (especially in the heat of the sun). The approximately 11 cm large flowers usually appear in three to nine long-stemmed clusters, but are quite short-lived and therefore not well suited as cut roses.

Graham Thomas is a shrub rose with medium growth - mostly about 1.75 m high in warm areas, but up to 4–5 m - and large, light green, shiny leaves. It is therefore suitable as a solitary plant or for small groups. Due to its upright growth, it is not easy to grow as a climbing rose, even in warm areas, despite its height.
