Grande Rivière is a place in the quarter (district) Gros Islet in the center of the north of the island state of St. Lucia in the Caribbean .
geography
The place with the settlements of Morne Elwin , Degazon , Morne Serpent , White Rock (on the Postlewaite hill ), Piat , Assou Canal , Postlewaithe and Norbert . The place is between Mount Chaubourg in the south and Mount Jambe in the north. The Grande Rivière with the tributaries Ravine La Vaccance and Ravine Robert drains to the north and soon flows into the Bois d'Orange River, which flows curvy to the northeast. The Corinth Gran Rivière Road is the main road from Corinth in the northwest to Monier in the southeast.
In the village there is the Grand Riviere Nazarene Church , as well as the Grande Riviere Primary School and in Degazon the Mount Olives SDA Church .
