The Bois d'Orange River is a river on the northwest coast of the Caribbean island of St. Lucia . It bears the name of the bay of the same name and the place in the Quarter Gros Islet .
geography
The river has its source in the south of the Gros Islet area in the Mongiraud and Grande Riviere areas on the Morne Serpent ( ⊙ ). From there it meanders in two large arches, partly parallel to the coast to the northwest. It receives a tributary from Corinth Estate in the north and passes through Cornth and then enters further north into the local area of Bois d'Orange. North of the Castries-Gros Islet-Highway it forms the Bois d'Orange Swamp at Trouya and then flows into the Caribbean Sea between Trouya Point and Morne Pimard in the Trou Gascon (François Beach) .
