Movie content
An elderly lady reads a daily newspaper with a magnifying glass and can thus see the letters better. When her grandson Willy picks up the magnifying glass, he notices that things are getting bigger around him.
Background information
The film is one of the first films to be shot with different camera angles. The scenes with the magnifying glass were enhanced by a round image.
Harold Smith had previously appeared in George Albert Smith's film Santa Claus in 1898 and in The House That Jack Built in 1900 .
