The Green Creek is a 1 km long glacial meltwater river in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Taylor Valley it flows from the lower end of the Canada Glacier in a northeast direction to the southwest end of the Fryxellsee , which it reaches immediately east of the Bowles Creek .

It was named at the suggestion of the American hydrologist Diane Marie McKnight, head of the team of the United States Geological Survey (USGS), which examined the river system of Lake Fryxell between 1987 and 1994. Name giver is William J. Green of Miami University in Oxford , Ohio , who carried out geochemical studies from 1980 to 1980 on the Onyx River and from 1982 to 1983 on Fryxellsee, Hoareee and their tributaries .
