Villenave ( Occitan : Vilanava ) is a French commune with 326 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Landes department of the Aquitaine region . It belongs to the Arrondissement Dax and to the cantons of Pays Morcenais Tarusate (until 2015: Canton Tartas-Ouest ).
geography
Villenave is about 34 kilometers northeast of Dax and about 26 kilometers west-northwest of Mont-de-Marsan . Villenave is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Morcenx-la-Nouvelle in the north and north-west, Arengosse in the north, Ygos-Saint-Saturnin in the north-east, Ousse-Suzan in the east and south-east, Beylongue in the south and Rion-des-Landes in the west and south-west.
