Gregg Hale

Greggory R. Hale (* 1966 in Selma , Alabama ) is an American film producer , best known for his work in the 1999 film Blair Witch Project . He is also a scriptwriter , film director and film editor on a smaller scale .

Life

Gregg Hale was in Selma born in the US state of Alabama, but he considers Henderson ( Kentucky ) as his home. He attended Western Kentucky University for a year before dropping out of school and joining the US Army for four years . After leaving the US Army, he moved to Orlando , where he studied at Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida . He then worked for ten years in Orlando and Los Angeles as an assistant in the areas of production design and props for feature films and television programs . In 1999 he produced the horror film Blair Witch Project . In 2004 he directed Say Yes Quickly, his first and so far only feature film.
